TintHop · Your privacy

Privacy policy

Effective date: 2 October 2026

Your pictures, progress and preferences stay on your device. The current app has no accounts, advertising or embedded analytics.

Information used on your device

TintHop stores puzzle progress, canvas settings and sound preferences on your device. If you choose an image for a reveal puzzle, the app reads that selected file and stores a resized copy with your saved puzzle. TintHop does not upload these images or saves to a developer-operated server.

Collection and sharing

The current version has no user accounts, advertising, in-app purchases or embedded analytics. TintHop does not collect or transmit personal information to its developer through the app, and the developer does not sell your app data. The bundled pictures and sounds can be used offline.

Files and permissions

Choosing an image, importing a session or exporting artwork uses your device's file picker and storage features. The app accesses files you choose for these actions. Exported PNG images and JSON sessions remain wherever you save them; a session containing a custom image includes a copy of that image. Only share an exported file if you are comfortable sharing its contents.

Backups and deleting data

Device or operating-system backup services may include app data depending on your device settings. Those services are controlled by your device provider. You can remove local app data through your device's app settings or by uninstalling TintHop. Exported files and existing device backups must be deleted separately using the relevant file or backup service.

Support messages

If you email support, the developer receives the email address, message and attachments you send. This information is used to answer your request and diagnose the issue you report. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for support. You can request deletion of your support correspondence by emailing the same address.

Platform services

Google Play and your device provider may process download, device, backup or diagnostic information under their own privacy policies. This policy describes TintHop's app behaviour and does not replace those providers' policies.

Children's privacy

TintHop does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact the developer to request its deletion.

Changes and contact

This policy describes the current version of TintHop. It will be updated if the app's data practices change, including if online features are added. For privacy questions, contact the TintHop developer at [email protected].
